Dr. Zhang is currently certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN). He is affiliated with St. John's Health System and Community Hospital of Anderson & Madison County. He has been in private practice with Central Indiana Neurology since 2004.
Dr. Zhang is a member of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American and Indiana State Medical Associations, the American Academy of Neurology, and the Society for Neuroscience. He has published more than eleven articles and abstracts in several academic journals such as Biophysics Journal, Brain Research, and Acta Physiologica Sinica, mostly involving the field of neurophysiology. Dr. Christopher Melin earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He interned at the Methodist Hospital of Indiana and completed a residency in neurology at the Indiana University Medical Center. He was awarded a clinical neurophysiology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he trained for six months in EEG, evoked responses, and sleep disorders, and trained another six months in neuromuscular diseases and EMG. He has been in private practice with Central Indiana Neurology since 1985.
Dr. Larry Blankenship, Jr., earned his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors in physiology, psychiatry, neurology, and pediatric neurology. He also interned at West Virginia University and was awarded Outstanding Outpatient Clinician. He completed his residency in neurology at Ohio State University and earned both membership in Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society and the Dave Kotlarik Award for excellence in compassionate care.
Dr. Christopher Rocco completed his medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine in 1998. He trained and completed his residency in neurology at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 1992. Dr. Rocco is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and was named examiner for the ABPN in 1994. His interests include migraine headache and neurogenetics.
Dr. James Zhang earned his medical degree from ChongQing Medical University in China. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience) from the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Zhang interned at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed a residency in neurology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He was awarded a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine where he trained for one year in EEG, Video EEG monitoring, evoked responses, EMG, and sleep disorders.
